A versatile cabaret performer, songwriter and comedienne, Karen Gross enchants audiences with her warmth, humor, captivating stage presence and gorgeous, expressive voice.

Karen has been featured at prestigious music venues and festivals including Lincoln Center in NYC, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Harrisburg’s Whitaker Center, Bethlehem’s Musikfest, New York City cabaret institution Don't Tell Mama, and the Philadelphia area's premier venues including the Society Hill Playhouse, Sellersville Theater, Tin Angel, Bob Egan's New Hope, Cabaret at Odette’s, World Cafe Live and Puck. She has performed as a special guest for a wide range of artists including Robert Klein, Lisa Loeb, Lori McKenna, Jeffrey Gaines and John Eddie. Karen’s original music has earned radio airplay on Philadelphia's acclaimed WXPN radio station, known for discovering such artists as Norah Jones.

Karen’s original cabaret show “Sex & the Single Singer,” a sassy mix of music and comedy, sold out the house at legendary venues including Cabaret at Odette’s and Philadelphia's Tin Angel. “Sex & the Single Singer” is a fun, sexy musical journey about the search for love. In addition to showcasing her uniquely passionate voice, Karen employs her theatrical, comedic and playwriting talents in the self-penned show. Karen plays herself plus performs several hilarious characters.

Karen is also the producer and host of the Black Cat Cabaret, a cabaret and comedy series that showcases the Philadelphia area's top talent. The Black Cat Cabaret debuted to a sold-out audience at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia and was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia City Paper among other publications.

Karen has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Style Magazine, the Jewish Exponent, the Princeton Packet, The Intelligencer, Bucks County Courier Times, the Bucks County Herald and numerous other publications. She has performed live on the NBC 10! Show and been featured on Channel 6ABC's FYI Philly show and on KYW Newsradio.
